RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- He started his career in Kontena Nasional Sdn Bhd in 1982 as an Accounts Executive and eventually as the Chief Executive Officer from 2003-2008. Soon after, he joined Landbridge Haulage (M) Sdn Bhd as Executive Director, Finance. In September 2009, he joined UMW Group as the Executive Director, Group Financial Services Division and was promoted to the position of Group COO in October 2015, until his retirement from the Group on 30 June 2019.
On 1 April 2020, Encik Azmin resumed service as the Chief Operating Officer – Corporate at UMW to facilitate execution of selected special projects and key initiatives under Group’s transformation agenda. He was the Acting President & Group Chief Executive Officer of UMW from 5 June 2020 to 1 November 2020.
