UMW Pressure Control Sdn Bhd (“UPCSB”) is a joint venture company between UMW Petrodril (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Snubco Pressure Control International Ltd of Canada.

UPCSB provides gate valve milling / hot tapping, snubbing and other various pressure control related services.

UPCSB’s gate valve milling / hot tapping service involves milling jammed valves to either re-route or vent trapped pressure. It has the ability to mill through a variety of materials from the standard mild steel to tungsten steel.

Modular and compact, the gate valve milling unit can be easily transported onto any offshore platform and can fit into areas where space is a major constraint.

Complementing our state-of-the-art equipment are our trained and experienced field personnel with extensive expertise working under pressure in any environment.
