Dril-Quip is a leading manufacturer of subsea and surface wellheads/X’mas trees mudline equipment, gate valves, speciality connectors and diverter systems which are well suited for use in deepwater and harsh environments. To date, the UPSB had supplied a variety of Dril-Quip equipment to several subsea and deep water projects in Malaysia including Murphy Oil, Sarawak Shell Berhad, Newfield and Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

UPSB is the exclusive agent for Cougar Drilling Solutions FZE (CDS), providing Horizontal Drilling services in Malaysia. The combination of UPSB’s HWU and CDS’ Horizontal Drilling system is a unique and economical alternative to conventional drilling; capable of improving hydrocarbon recovery and accelerating production. Our HWU-CDS drilling system is capable of drilling up to 600 meters horizontally from the vertical bore, offering a cost effective solution to oil companies’ production enhancement initiatives.
