UMW Industries (1985) Sdn. Bhd. is a subsidiary of UMW that specialises in material handling and industrial floor cleaning equipment. We are fully equipped to cater to all forms of material handling and industrial floor cleaning requirements and can tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.

We have an extensive range of equipment and comprehensive training, after-sales and ownership packages through our strong business partnerships with world-renowned corporations like Toyota, BT, Raymond and Tennant.

As a leading material handling solutions partner, we care for the environment. Our disposal of industrial scheduled waste for used oil, oil filters and batteries is always in accordance with D.O.E Regulations.

Achievements & Milestones

From humble beginnings, UMW Industries (1985) Sdn. Bhd. has progressed strongly through the years. Following are the important milestones that mark our journey since our pioneering days.

• 1965  Started the distribution of Toyota Industrial Equipment in Malaysia and Singapore.
• 1978  Began distribution of Aichi solid tyres
• 1983  Secured distribution rights for Tennant and Bergougnan solid tyres.
• 1988  Secured distribution rights for Fulmen industrial batteries.
• 1993  Secured BT distribution rights.
• 1995  UMW celebrated 30 years' of partnership with Toyota
• 1999  Built the 1st Forklift Training Circuit in Malaysia located in Butterworth
• 2000  Began distributing Tokai solid tyres
• 2003  Formation of UMW Industrial Trading (Shanghai) Co.Ltd. Completed the 2nd Forklift Training  Circuit in Johor Bahru.
• 2004  Secured Raymond - USA distribution rights. Began distributing Dynamic Power industrial batteries UMW celebrated 40 years of partnership with Toyota.
• 2005   Achieved 30,000 unit sales of Toyota Industrial Equipment.
